Special Skills:

    Knowledge and compliance of Local, State, and Federal Department of Transportation regulations (including, but not limited to, Hours of Service regulations and DVIR reporting procedures) and all permit guidelines (including any governing jurisdiction or disposal facility that affects our work).

​    1+ years experience in the use and operation of vacuum trucks; including, but not limited to, all equipment and tools required to perform the scope of the work.

    Working knowledge and understanding of waste systems; including, but not limited to, grease interceptors, storm water management facilities, oil/sand interceptors, elevator shaft pits, ejector systems, septic tanks, and sewer lines.

Physical Abilities:

    Ability to drive, lift, and operate heavy tools and equipment.

    Knowledge of general mathematics.

    Effective written and oral communication skills.

    Ability to supervise and direct an apprentice or another vacuum truck operator.

Compensation:

    Hourly Wage    

    Based upon experience.

Full-Time CDL Driver

Overview:

    Utilize the tools and equipment to perform general diagnostic, maintenance, and repair to waste systems including, but not limited to, grease interceptors, storm water management facilities, oil/sand interceptors, elevator shaft pits, ejector systems, septic tanks, and sewer lines.

Responsibilities:

    Transport and deliver services in accordance with a schedule, including emergency, rush services that require overtime.

    Inspect and verify safety and operability of trucks and equipment prior to operating.

​    Cleaning and maintaining in good condition trucks and equipment.

    Maintain, replenish, and replace safety equipment for personnel, trucks, and equipment.

    Operate truck and equipment in a safe manner.

    Document and notify supervisor of any problems, defects, or damages immediately.

    Maintain vehicles and equipment in a manner that projects a positive company image to customers and the general public.

    Maintain a good driving record with a valid license as required for this job.

    Ensure good customer relations by consistently providing services on time and by appearing and acting in a courteous, professional manner.

    Mobile phone used to communicate with operations including after hours, holidays, and weekends and without advance notice.

    Personal vehicle for transportation to and from work.

    Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Basic Qualifications:

*    High School Diploma or GED

*    Valid CDL Class B license w/ Tanker's Endorsement

                - or -

      Valid CDL Class A license w/ Tanker's Endorsement and skill in safely operating different types of trucks

*    Valid DOT Medical Card

*    Passing of drug screens

*    Ability to obtain Confined Space Safety

*    Punctual

*    Flexible schedule

*    Independently motivated and team player
